Hearken the rendezvous—that seminal gathering created for making trades and memories for Mountain Men. Like the rendezvous of old, our new Camp Rendezvous is an adventure! Perfect for girls’ camps, family reunions, youth conferences and more. Our group camping sites have fun activities, and many opportunities for programming, entertainment, and engaging things to do. Historic Adventures or current festivals and events, when open, are paid for seperately. We also have energetic camp staff who will keep things hopping and meaningful for your group. See the chart at the bottom of the page for more options in terms of entertainment, workshops, leadership, course experiences, and more. Camp Rendezvous has the best view of the Wellsville Mountains than anywhere else in northern Utah.

Events and activities at Camp Rendezvous are all custom planned. We’ll do as little or as much as you want. Give us a call! We have staff who will help you have the time of your life. Our motto is “Make a Friend at the Heritage Center”, and we’ll do our best to treat you like friends and family. Most Camp Rendezvous experiences include Historic Adventures during the summer.

We have two large group campsites. Each site comes with a tipi, a 16′x32′ shelter for dining or shade. There is a tap for fresh water, porta-potties, and flush toilets are a 5 minute walk to the south. Fire pits are located in each camp as well.

Camp Willow can accommodate up to 75 people. There is plenty of shade and it is also easy to retreat into our nature area if the weather heats up. Camp Willow also has a small stage and a natural amphitheater with a campfire.

Camp Washakie is located next to Camp Willow and offers camping for groups of up to 200 or more.  Most folks who reserve Camp Washakie usually have access to Camp Willow as well with its stage and natural amphitheater.

Some Options:

Dinners & Meals

When the sun starts to set at the American West Heritage Center, more fun begins with a tempting dinner. If you want one of our local caterers to provide a wonderful contemporary meal or a genuine “old fashioned” dutch oven feast, please let us know in advance so we can make the arrangements with you to get the meal(s) you want.

Entertainment & Workshops

We love entertainment out here! We have access to best local bands, performance Gunfighter, professional storytellers, and other performers. Or… it’s time for an old-fashioned dance with a lively dance caller to help you find your feet.

We also have access to experts who know old-fashioned skills or make exciting presentations that are worthwhile and fun to learn. Examples include Pony Express riders, pioneer foodways experts (Dutch oven cooking, etc.), spinning, weaving on a loom, mountain man skills, and more.

Just let us know your needs, and we will find those presenters who will make your event extra special.
