Bridgerland Storytelling Guild: If you like to tell or listen to stories, this group is the chapter for the Utah Storytelling Guild in Northern Utah. They can arrange for tellers at your event–or just come and join them in a meeting.
Coyotee Moon: One of our favorite cowboy bands, they play foot stompin’ music and have exciting personalities to boot. Loads of fun!
Lefty: Kind of a kooky cowboy clown, Lefty sings, he kinda dances, and he’s just plain funny. When his family comes with him, there is an introduced “cute-factor” that is irresistible. Lefty has been entertaining at the American West Heritage Center for many years.
Root Beer Reunion: The Rootbeer Reunion is comprised of three very talented boys. Braden, Kort, and Trae Fuller of Wellsville, Utah have been entertaining audiences for the past few years with their musical abilities in the Old and New West Style.
Sassafras: One of Utah’s best and favorite folk string bands, this all-female band features lovely, tight vocals, extremely adept folk string playing, and fun personalities. Two times winner of our Folk Band Battle and one of our most requested bands.
Whoa Molly: Mix light and humorous songs with a professional storyteller, and you’ve got some amazing entertainment for all ages! Features guitar, accordian, upright bass, and fun singing and telling. Phone: (435) 5121-7286 • Contact: Marianne Sidwell
Non-Profit Organizations
Alliance for the Varied Arts: The oldest nonprofit volunteer arts organization in Utah. They offer classes in visual art, ceramics, fiber arts, literary arts, music. Also see Valley Dance Ensemble and Unicorn Theatre. Gallery featuring local and national artists–shows include Cache Chapter Utah Watercolor Society, high schools, juried shows, calligraphy, women’s art, and art camp. Cache Valley Center for the Arts: They have a great season of entertainment in the elegant Ellen Eccles Theatre from Broadway shows to Big Bands, but they’re also good friends who do amazing things for our community.
Stokes Nature Center: Stokes Nature Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for students of all ages to explore, learn about, and develop appreciation and stewardship for our natural world.
