Family Reunions

Camp Rendezvous at the American West Heritage Center is one of northern Utah’s favorite family reunion destinations. It’s no wonder: Camp Rendezvous is a lovely place with a stunning view of the Wellsville Mountains, flush toilets, solitude for your family, semi-private access, plenty of room to park and camp, a lovely nature trail, and LOTS of things to do and see.

Camp Rendezvous offers two lovely large group campsites, each boasting a tipi for camping or for use as a headquarters, activities, or special meetings.

Most family reunions enjoy Daily Adventures, the diamond in our hands-on heritage crown. At Daily Adventures, you can engage in interactive, living history fun, ride a train, and the little ones can have a pony ride. Our living history venues at Daily Adventures include our 1917 farm, a pioneer settlement, a mountain man fur trade camp, a Shoshone Indian encampment, and our old-fashioned woodwright shop.

Many families enjoy other fun programs such as our teambuilding course (Peter Maughan Teamwork Course), Bridgerland Games, old-fashioned skill workshops and more. We can arrange for your meals to be catered, an old time dance for your family, or entertainment of all kinds from folk bands to storytellers.  Or, you can plan your own events and activities. Either way, you’ll find Camp Rendezvous at the American West Heritage Center a place for your family members to connect with heritage, be creative, build self-confidence, grow closer to each other, and have fun.

With so many other attractions in our area, Camp Rendezvous often becomes a hub where families stay, but then go to the theatre or opera at night, enjoy Summerfest in Logan (mid June), hike, fish, climb, or gallery walk. Logan, with its surrounding communities in Cache Valley, is a wonderful place with lots to do.
