There is just something about warm and soft ginger snaps that makes you want to curl up in a comfy place with a plate full of  warm ginger snaps.

Well we just happen to have

the best

recipe

ever!

The ginger snaps that are made in our very own farm kitchen on the wood burning stove are amazing! We have had so many requests for the recipe, we finally decided we could pull the recipe out of the vault and share it with you today.

is!

Cream together:

3/4 Cup Shortening

1 Cup Sugar

1/4 Cup Molasses

1 Egg Mix into above,

all ingredients in order

1 3/4 Cup Flour

2 tsp Baking Soda

1/4 tsp Salt

1 tsp Cloves

1 tsp Ginger

1 tsp Cinnamon

Roll into walnut size balls, roll balls in sugar.  Flatten slightly. Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

Best served warm!
