We begged and pleaded with him to share his secret recipe. And we tell you it was so hard to pry the secret out of him!

Finally he gave in and let us share his ice cream recipe.

Wayne’s Homemade Ice Cream

Juice from 1 lemon

1 package of frozen raspberries – thawed

1 pt. heavy whipping cream

1 ½ cup sugar

1 cup orange juice

2 cups of milk

Put all ingredients in the metal canister with the paddle attached to the lid.  Place container in the wooden barrel and attach the metal bar with the handle to the top of the barrel.  Alternate ice and coarse salt around the edge of the metal canister and spin the handle until the ingredients harden and become the consistency of ice cream.

Best served cold!
